Autumn is nigh, and it's time to prepare for the Samhain edition of Lavender Lime Literary: Bone Dust.

This is our horror issue.  We seek to bleed out that which startles us to movement.  Give over your dark delights.  Your guilty pleasures.  Your swarm to the stillness of bone and breath.  Or just creep us right out of our skin- we love a good trick as much as we love a treat!

Lavender Lime Literary is a sex-positive publication, so hit us with your erotic horror shows- but note:  We are, ever and foremost, a trauma-informed publication.  Horror pieces that showcase abuse for the sake of shock and awe are not welcomed here.  We do not make a spectacle of the things which survivors have survived.  This does not mean that we do not accept pieces that reference, process, or outright purge abusive narratives, but rather to say that pieces that seek to profit off of the pain of others will not be considered.  Please see our trauma-informed guidelines for specifics, and be sure to include trigger warnings as you feel they're appropriate.
