Thank you.
There are, amidst the two of us, moments of interconnection where words are an ephemera we merely vocalize to fill the air with song. Our winter months are mild in the tropics, but the aching felt in the cold- how it bitters the bone- presents in different ways. Our winter has been a painful one, with medical issues and mobility challenges. This issue of Lavender Lime Literary nearly launched late, and we wanted to take a moment of real with you to say thank you.
Thank you for your patience.
Thank you for your artistry.
Thank you for your understanding and for your words of kindness.
Thank you for your poetry, which inspires us and helps us to stay present for what matters.
Pain dulls the mind, or so they tell us, but poetry uplifts always. Your pieces have made a difference in our lives, and while we have not always been able to publish every piece that you send us, we want you to know that your poems have helped Pea through some of the most physically painful days of her life. In short, what we are trying to say is that your art improved our lives, and we are incredibly grateful to have the pleasure of witnessing your works.
Yours in poetry,
